i think part of the reason harry and louis do so many extravagant gestures of love is because they haven’t been given the luxury of simple things like holding hands in public, and wearing wedding rings for each other, and saying “yeah he’s mine and i’m his” and so the bitter irony is that to replace that they amplify these sweeping gestures that still can’t be claimed as what they are but are obvious to anyone who’s looking. and while those gestures are beautiful they really deserve to hold hands and just…be
